ANLYS 101
Research and Analysis
This course teaches the fundamentals of research, analysis, and interpretation of Federal HR policies, regulations, laws, directives, decisions, and mandates and and their applicability to HR functions and programs. Also included are procedures on proper responses or actions, and writing techniques such as proper format, plain language, and compliance. This course is suitable for Human Resources staff with duties in Policy, Accountability and Compliance, Reasonable Accommodation, EEO, Employee Relations, and Workforce Planning.
It is also suitable for staff responsible for responding to legal queries, requests, and mandates such as Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Special Counsel (OSC), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Office of Special Counsel (OSC), Office of General Counsel (OGC), and the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB).

Professional Writing
This course teaches the fundamentals of professional writing for a variety of Federal Human Resources documents such as Job Announcements, Position Descriptions, Job Analyses, Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Performance Evaluation Plans, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), response letters, etc. Also included are procedures and tips on proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
This course is suitable for Human Resources staff whose duties include frequent written communications. Customized Training
Customized training courses are available for your agency, individual, or group needs. Training courses consist of an overview of the Federal Government, Federal Hiring, and Federal Employment. It also includes new and remedation training in recruitment, staffing, placement, and personnel processing from beginner to manager level and are suitable for employees new to government, individuals with disabilities, hiring managers, employees being considered for or placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), and employees needing help to prepare for the OPM Delegated Examining (DE) Certification Assessment Test or Re-test.
